Happy May Day!
For me, May is officially the beginning of spring/summer. It means I can pack up my winter wardrobe and embrace summer clothes (even during the current floods!)
......it also means I have to update my winter bag.
I am a black leather bag girl through and through.... I can't seem to break away from the mould of having a smart black handbag attached to the end my arm for half the year.. So in the summer months I always always try to find a bag that has a bit more colour! Last year it was tan, year before it was mint and year before that it was pink!
So as it was payday on Friday...I can now find my summer bag.
ASOS always has a great choice, so I've picked my fav few!

My top tips for choosing the right bag.
1) When choosing a bag in store, place your current bag inside the new one to see if your new bag will fit all your belongings into it.
2) I personally like having a zipped pocket inside, as I keep my work pass and train ticket there - it means when I am in a rush I know exactly where they are!
3) Choose a colour that will match most of your wardrobe, or a colour that clashes so much that it makes it ok!
4) Bigger bags make you look smaller!

I have a silver metallic Cambridge Satchel, and the lilac one looks really gorgeous - wished I could have it but I really need to budget :( Haha it's true that bigger bags make you look smaller - perfect when your picture is being taken and the cute bag hides the unflattering bits ;)
